Brigitta Winkler Returns to Denver for a Week of Workshops

Brigitta Winkler is a 45 year tango dancer and has been my primary tango mentor and inspiration since the first time I met her in 1998. She was one of the original teachers of the Argentine Tango revival in Europe, and has taught in Berlin, New York and all over the world since the early 1980s. She visited Argentina for the first time during the "tango dark ages" before the modern revival of tango exploded in the 1980s and 1990s.
Brigitta has learned from many of the famous show dancers active at the time, and is experienced in many tango styles. She made frequent visits to the intense Buenos Aires milongas of the 1980s. As a result of this history, Brigitta is a bridge between the young dancers learning in the 1980s & 90s and the elder generation of the 1930s & 40s.

I've had the pleasure of inviting Brigitta to Teach frequently in Denver, and I've worked extensively with her over the years. I visited Moscow with Brigitta and Cacho Dante in the early 2000s where we taught at the two first "Moscow Milonguero Festivals."
Be prepared for Brigitta's trademark games, playfulness and insights. Classes will rotate partners, and you need to be prepared to do both lead and follow.
